"Curious" Original Oil Painting on Stretched Canvas

$600.00

The inspiration for “Curious” originally came from listening to the song “Passenger” by Deftones. Listening to the chorus, I envisioned a surreal figure glancing in the mirror at a reflection of themselves. However, there was more to the reflection then a mirrored image.

The expression and emotion was different, and the piece had a vintage, gothic feel.

While creating and looking at “Curious”, I was in a state of instrospection, and it really made me think about how if reflections could reveal our inner state of being, vs. the outward appearance, what would they look like?

How does “Curious” speak to you? Is your “curiousity” peaked? I can never resist a good pun :D

16in X 20in X 0.75in Original Oil Painting on Stretched Canvas, Ready to hang up in your vintage, gothic space today.
